If you want reliable coverage I would go with something like OTR Mobile. They use a huge powerful device that runs on Verizon. T mobile would give you numerous times to enjoy the radio in the truck because the wifi would be dead so streaming music would be kaput.

I've had this device for a few months, OTR mobile since 2018 with different devices. The new Verizon based device is the best. It's 5g capable. I've done speedtests and had over 150mbps down and the same up when it finds a 5G tower. Up to 70mbps on 4G which is everywhere.

Unlimited data, unthrottled. 100 a month.

If you do decide to go with OTR mobile, let me know. I might be able to get you a little bit of a discount or the device cheaper. I know some of the high ups.

Just like at home, it al depends on the coverage in the area you are occupying.

My phone is T-Mobile, as is our home internet and my mobile hot spot in the truck.
Many years ago there were some areas that were not covered, and these days it is just a few off spots here and there. Much like any other service.

I have been with T-Mobile for around 16 years. They have only gotten better over that time.

It depends on where you drive. Along the interstates in major corridors between big cities, almost any company has connection. Once you get 5 miles away from the interstate highways or get into sparsely populated areas only the biggest carriers are reliable. If you shop only on price you will get service with companies that are only reliable in cities.

The issue with Visible is they only allow 1 device to be connected via hotspot at a time.
