Looking at truck washes, alot seem to be blue beacon or others with the same concept where you pay someone to wash your truck.
Would there be interest in a self service for say $35 for 45 min of time to wash your truck or prefer an automatic truck wash for say $45 or the option for both?

There’s a few self washes around. The problem is you about need to carry your own bucket and brushes to keep from destroying your paint and polished aluminum. The big problem is that many of them aren’t well maintained. The brushes are junk and filled with grit. Half the time the soap doesn’t work. Most of the time there is grease all over the concrete because the DIT wash is where guys go to degrease their truck.

Oh hell no. My trainer guru told me a truck driver won't stand if he can sit, won't sit if he can lay down, and will sleep when he can. I won't pay money to do the work. That's seriously close to being retarded.

I would take the option for both. There are no full service washes in my area, so I have to use a self-service wash.
Oxbow Thanks this. -
Love's is currently opening their own truck washes. An automated truck wash. Don't know how good or bad they will be. Our trucks are all washed at terminals so I probably will never use one.

I have my own heated unit on a trailer, but it takes me a long time to wash it properly by myself, clean everything up and put away.
I’ve considered using it as a mobile wash unit, but I’d need to clone myself to be happy with running it as a legit business. -
Oh I load/unload my own freight tooD.Tibbitt, Siinman, Long FLD and 1 other person Thank this. -
If i want to be REAL pedantic and get all the crap up under the ferrings add a good 2 or 3 hours to pull those and really get the underside good and clean.
Always sad too becauae the shine rarely lasts past the first load lol.
