Do Owner Ops utilize truck numbers & trailer numbers? And if so, how do you pick your number(s)?

Factory I worked at, all their trailer numbers were the month/year they were purchased. For example, one trailer was purchased in Oct of 87 so it was 1087. That system makes it easy to remember when YOU obtained it.

Depends on how many trailers/tractors you are trying to keep track of.
Less than 100 of each? More than 10,000? 1 of each?
Less than 10 of each unit, use just about any system you wish. Kid's birthdays, anniversaries. whatever...Lonesome Thanks this. -
Thanks. Got my answer. Make up your own.

If ur a flatbedder its usually 777 or 666
