Hey guys so I have a brand new drive tire with a small slice on the side wall, maybe about half an inch wide. I really don’t wanna spend $400 on a new tire. does anyone have any advice on how or where to fix this? I’ve tried to patch it a couple times and it just hasn’t worked. Any advice would be appreciated, and if anybody knows a place in Pennsylvania/NJ that does That kind of service please let me know.
Truck tire repair, specifically in the sidewall? Is it possible?

Doesn’t TA/Petro warranty the tires? If it blows they will replace it I think.

Put on a new tire, and quit being cheap. Pretty ###### easy a blown tire costs 1K$ in damage, or k's in road service

Can't repair a sidewall. If its not legal to run you'll have to buy a new one.

If its not deep I wouldn’t be concerned. 1/2 inch wide isn’t much. Our oilfield trucks had pretty good slices all the time and hauling heavy. We never had blowouts.
