I got the truck stops app for android in the android market. Paid 3.99. Works better than the $15 truckstops book. I used it while driving and it was easy. Also has walmarts cat scales and rest stops

I was looking at that, but wanted to get some feedback on it before I paid for it.

But where the hell did you pay $15 for a truck stop book? Mine only cost something like $3.99...

Saw one at a for 15 at a truckstop some where can't remeber. The layout of the app is a little cheesy. But it is simple to use. So that makes it convient to look up a rest area or truck stop while driving. It also has a option for u to add a truckstop or report one that is closed. They will do an investigation and add or take it off

Nice App for the money. Also shows the number of spaces available at the stop, also the Blue Beacons, etc.

I really liked that app too and I make sure to always update them to stuff. Very helpful, seems to have a small crash issue if I have it up when the idle screen comes up but other then that I've been using it exclusively and I have one of them 15ish buck books. For the record I think he is talking about the 8 x 12 blue truck stop book that lists them by state then by exit order. That blue book is helpful for non interstates, and I keep it around for that.

I picked up a Motorola's xoom! its running Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Its 10.1 inch screen makes it a easy laptop replacement. And the $20.00 a month Verizon Data plan comes in handy for those NON WYFI days. The solid state hard drive means bouncing around in a big truck wont damage the xoom. Now where can I download the truck stop app?

U can download the app in the android market. And as for u paying for a 29.99 data plan stinks. If u have a android phone u can root your phone and use it as a wifi hotspot for 5 laptops and only use your data plan. Its easy to root now. There is an app called z4root it is a third party app so its not in the market. I keep it posted on a app called gmob 365 chat. Its in the market. Gmob has a chatroom where u can download and install paid apps for free and 3rd party apps. Download z4root from there and one click your phone is rooted. Then go to android market and download wifi tether for root users.
