I know this will be sacrilegious to some.. but honestly I find the Kenworth Seats to be insanely comfortable... but I currently drive an international LT... i know about the base plate difference, but other than you all making fun of meis there any reason i cant swap the Kenworth seats into my international?

Our shop put a new seat in the LT I drive that came from Peterbilt and they sent it with an adapter plate. Love that seat. Way better than the stock LT seat.0

nice so im not the only one haha -
That may be a standard factory seat, but if it's really comfortable maybe it's a legacy seat or something like that?
There was a seat in one of the trucks I drove in California that I really liked. It reclined all the way back like a bed. Of course that nice fld had that nice one unit sleeper that you could recline without hitting the back.
That seat was so comfortable because if you only needed to sit there for another 5 minutes or 10 minutes like you were waiting for something, I could recline the seat a little farther and it was super comfortable and I didn't have to climb into the sleeper.
But anyway like I said, I would check what model it is and make sure you get the exact same thing.
Maybe they even make one that's exact. for your truck -
I live near a truck wrecking yard.. The seats I'm buying are straight out of a KW getting a heck of a deal on both driver and passenger for less than 500 bucks..Dino soar Thanks this. -
Most truck seats are universal, the seats themselves. The bases aren't necessarily universal though.
I have found a lot of factory seats in Volvo an FL's to be a lot more comfortable than aftermarket ones (like Legacy). -

The bases usually have plenty of holes for different applications. You may have to drill some holes in the base. Main thing is using the original holes on the Truck. You want it secured properly. Can’t just mount it to the floorboard. 4 states sells adapter plates. They’re expensive. A thick plate bolted to original frame mount, and drill new holes for new seat is a cheaper way to go. I mounted new “seats Inc” in my Freightliner, had to drill one hole in the base of new seat. Another way would be to mount the old bottom plate onto the new seat’s bottom plate. Probably be drilling some new holes. Be sure to properly secure the seat belt safety straps to the floor. Preferably in original locations. That’s what’ll make it safe.

The company I work for purchased 15 2020 Cascadias brand new a few years ago. 5 of those trucks were going to be assigned to driver/trainers. We didn't spec trucks with passenger seats at that time so those 5 trucks needed passenger seats.Someone behind a desk came up with the bright idea of taking the driver's seat out of 5 other new trucks and putting them into the driver/trainer trucks as passenger seats so they had matching seats. They installed aftermarket seats in the trucks the seats were taken out of. Well...........the trucks the seats were taken out of were BRICKED! Wouldn't start! So they had to get the seats out of the trucks they were moved into so they could use those trucks. Ended up putting the aftermarket seats in the driver/trainer trucks as passenger seats.
