used car prices are just as insane.
i recently turned in my 2019 Toyota Camry, as the lease was going to end in August, so i took advantage of the equity in it, and the believe it or not, low prices of the new cars, (got me a new 2022 corolla, bought it, not leasing this one) and the dealership put my 2019 on the lot for nearly $26,000, with less than 27,000 miles on it. (the pay off of the balance of the "residual value" of the car was $17,000 if I wanted to buy it, which i did not want it, so the dealership bought it from Toyota most likely cheaper too)...and they are selling it as a Toyota Certified Used Car, with up to a 75,000 mile warranty.
New Camry's are going for nearly $29,000..........
but the "shortage" of good used cars is driving up the cost of what used one's are on the lots
so if you want a used truck, expect to pay nearly as much as a new one.Sirscrapntruckalot and John Joel Glanton Thank this. -
Truck prices won’t go down until there are actually trucks to buy. Most manufacturers are sold out for 2022 and don’t have any spots until 2023. That will keep used truck prices high because there are people still trying to grow and expand that don’t have a choice but to buy used right now.
Cat sdp, Rubber duck kw, Siinman and 7 others Thank this. -
Everything is going up. Supply is limited on so many things right now. This is why it's imperative to raise rates accordingly.

Denny Transport here in Denver is selling their old Volvo's, 2017/2018 for $80K and getting it, these would normally be $50k trucks, KW has jacked the price on new trucks $40k
JoeyJunk Thanks this. -

This is caused by the fedgov inventing and printing and handing out $12 BILLION dollars in less than one year.
the dollars that were in circulation now have a much lower value and it takes 30% more of them to buy the exact same thing.
Don’t blame me , I didn’t vote for the guy.kuzima93, Muddydog79, Turbodriven and 12 others Thank this. -
