    you mean the turn signal light on the fenders of the 900 and 800? thats not a tail light,its a front marker/signal so yes it can be fullt orange.

    I would suggest you open up that little green book, and flip to 393.11. You don't want to listen to me, so go read the exact same thing I'm telling you right from the source. I'm done arguing with you. If you don't want to follow the regs, that's fine...your choice...it gives a cop a legitimate reason to stop you if he chooses to do so. Justify it in your own mind all you want, it still won't make incorrectly colored lights comply with the regulations.

    I am sorry you took it that way, i didn't see it as arguing.
    I think you are comprehending the regulation 393.11 incorrectly, it states tail light,which by definition is on the rear of the truck, these lights are also not brake lights, they are marker lights with directional amber on both sides, just as the new KW's have from the factory..
