    That’s FUBAR!
    At the same length a lot of their senior drivers were already taking early buyouts over the past few years because of the shenanigans the company was doing,specifically,giving the money runs the senior drivers had to the new drivers. Some of their drivers had 20-30+ years with the company.
    For them, writing was on the wall!

    It was Probabaly the insurance company that hired the private investigator and yes . Insurance companies often spend more trying to get out of paying a claim than the claim costs .

    once word gets around to the other employees that making a workers comp claim is easy money , the company will have hundreds of claims

    Years ago I worked with a guy. Real nice guy. Ex military. By the book dude. He got a part time job at Walter unloading trucks at night. Not sure exactly what happened but it was bad enough that he said he will n3ver set foot in a Walter store as long as he lives.
