Has anyone had trouble getting their W2 form from Stevens? They said mine was in the mail but that was over 7 business days ago. It's not that far from Texas to Colorado!![]()

Geeze, print one up, and fill in the blanks..........from your last pay stub !!
-
Hang on until Feb 15th, then start worrying.

They mailed them just as the storm hit that closed down most of northern texas... and mail from dallas to denver, by truck. You were a trucker, you should understand that.
-
Yup, the weather really messed with things.
The mail truck that brings the mail to our small town didn't even make it in Tuesday night/Weds morning, so we didn't get any mail, as if the mail person would have been able to get around! -
Well yes, I was a driver and a trainer for Stevens. And yes the weather has been bad but... unless drivers have turned into total wimps not everyday for the last 9 days has been bad. They said they sent them out on the 27th. Had this trouble last year and the year before and the year before that. Seems to me, they don't send them out till someone actually inquires. Yes, Federal Law mandates they be postmarked by the 31st. And no, my bank does not except my last paycheck stub since that was in April 2011.

got mine a while back. filed taxes done, thank god.
-
yeah got mine already
-
so the blame belongs elsewhere than with stevens. Local post office, wrong address...
And a bank has NOTHING to do with a W2, and April 2011 has not even happened yet. -
Alot of companies will use a third party outfit to fill out and send W-2's. If you had an address change, it's a good possibility they didn't get it. I been down that road before. I would ask your payroll dept for a copy and stay on them until they give it to you. I would stress the address change if so too.
If you don't have it by Feb 15, you can contact the IRS and they'll send them a warning letter.
If you still don't get it, you are allowed to estimate your return. In that case, use your last paystub like 123456 said. File with TurboTax online and they even ask you if the info is W-2, estimated, employer didn't give you a W-2, etc.
