Fort Wayne transportation company to cut nearly 200 jobs
FORT WAYNE, Ind. -
Triple Crown Services says it will cut nearly 200 workers as part of a major restructuring by parent company Norfolk Southern Corp.
The companies expect the layoffs will begin in November. The layoffs are expected to be complete by the end of the year. Norfolk Southern says affected employees will be eligible for severance pay, job placement assistance and opportunities to apply for other positions.
The company says after the layoffs, it will continue to employ more than 2,000 people in Indiana.

I wonder if it's dead wood or real workers. Hope it's not drivers.
-
Instead of getting rid of employees, they should get rid of those trailers. Goodness gracious, they are junk!

Triple crown is being downsized by Norfolk southern. Nearly everyone will be out of work in a couple of months.
-
What do you define as nearly everyone? It didn't say they are closing, just cutting 200 jobs.
