Does anybody know what tripac fuse F8 is? It's 7.5 amps and it blew. Whatever that circuit is then blew a 10 amp fuse. So far the 15 amp fuse is holding. The AC works again, but what am I about to blow up on my tripac? Thanks
Tripac Evolution fuse # F8, 7.5 amps...

If its not there for some reason just call TK because you most certainly can screw it up.
You don't want to wind up with a $2500 dollar repair bill. -
It's the F8 fuse, 8FET. It's for the engine switch I think. 7.5 blew, then a 10 blew. 15 has been running since yesterday, no problems yet. the little fan motors have a 25 amp fuse and those wires are dinky. no smell or smoke yet. I'm going to get it serviced on Wednesday, I'll put the blown fuses back in and act dumb
to see if they know what causes F8 to pop.

I have the repair manual in my house, but I am on the road now.

I have a new one as well. There is a fuse at the battery connection that is encased in rubber, it will be on top of your batteries. If they had units sitting around, like my dealer did, those don’t have the proper fuse in them. It is an active recall on these and the fuse is too small and blows. They put in the correct fuse after I complained of intermittent issues with the APU. Haven’t had an issue since.

Got it serviced, the fuel pump was leaking diesel out from around the power wires, the tech came in and said "you need a new fuel pump." I said the hell I do, it runs just fine, and proceeded to start it up. He said the fuel pump had absolutely no power going to it at all DOA. Apparently there is enough vacuum to keep pulling fuel and keep it running. They said the F8 fuse is tied to a bunch of stuff, very likely could have been bad fuel pump that blew it. I'm going to replace the 15 amp with a 7.5 again and see if it holds, if it blows again that means it's something else. 150 bucks fuel pump, 50 bucks service kit, 3.22 hours labor came to 599.99. How's that for a 6 month air conditioning bill.
