After 45 yrs in trucking mainly in heavy haul, I decided to give Tribe a try. Only here for 2 weeks and I'm giving notice.
Huge mistake coming here to work. Orientation is a disorganized clusterf...., then we were told our class was going to recover abandoned trucks and trailers all over the country. 33 trucks to be exact. Recruiting told me drivers average 2500 miles minimum.....lol. My second week here I turned an astonishing 612 miles. @.60 cents per mile, you do the math. NOW I UNDERSTAND WHY SO MANY DECIDE TO ABANDON THEIR EQUIPMENT.

Good jobs are not easy to find.
Everybody paints w a broad brush.
Telling you how great it is yet they are hiring.
I too abandoned a unit in NJ like 40 years ago.
Don't regret it and never looked back.
    Today it's a bit different I guess.
Good luck on finding something decent you can close out your career from.

The 1st truck I ever drove was one that had been abandoned. I had to clean it out the best I could on the spot and then drive it for about a week. Not a pleasant experience

So many people are always talking about recovering trucks with this company. You basically got paid for 1 load....beer amd strip club money there.

Wow they are still using new drivers to go grab trucks. I thought Tribe would have got that issue solved by now. Thats an immediate red flag if any company ask a new hire to recover a truck.

That’s what I don’t understand. If a company is having that much of a problem with abandoned trucks and turnover going through the roof why isn’t senior management seeing this and wondering wth is going on? Or are they that clueless and just continuing with the revolving door until they go under? Either sounds like the company’s leadership has their heads up their #####.

Roehl Transport flew me from Appleton, Wisconsin to Dallas to recover a truck that had been severely damaged in Iraq but was still serviceable. I drove it for over a month before they fixed all the damage, which unfortunately cost me two days sitting in Marshfield, Wisconsin
