Alright guys, I'm almost at the end of the Flatbeding phase of my career, and it's almost time for me to move on to my next phase, which is Tanker ( Food grade ). I like to do a lot of research before jumping into anything I do, especially the important stuff, so here's what I'm looking for:

A decent Tanker company where I can average at least 2500 miles a week ( I'm willing to run and make money, that's my priority right now ), no driver-facing camera ( I might make an exception if they're an excellent company ), no slow trucks, go at least 70mph and can climb hills and mountains ( they don't have to do 70mph on the mountains, just not do 20mph then I'll be fine... ) , and an overall relax work place, is that really hard to find these days lol. That said has anybody worked for TRD trucking or Custom Commodities here? If so, would love some insight on them as I don't see a lot of driver reviews on them out there, btw, I live in Florida, Port Saint Lucie, and will have 1 year experience, no Tanker experience. I'm ready to leave Flatbed, not going to miss folding frozen tarp in 16 degrees anytime soon LMAO!! I appreciated, thanks!

Custom has driver facing cams. Unfortunately with the hazmat carriers it's tougher to find a carrier that doesn't use them . Alot more funny business with the insurance in that side of the industry .

Do you already have your tanker CDL endorsement?

If not -- better start working on it....

Have you talked to any of the gang yet, over on the Indian River Transport thread?

You're in FL; IRT is in FL...

You might want to look into texas oil fields, they should be picking up soon, find a company that pays hourly and pays overtime, at 70 hours a week you won’t have a problem taking $2000 home.
Rolling tarps in cold weather becomes much easier when you know what you work for. So make sure to do your homework before committing to a company, talk to their drivers and ask how busy they stay and what they make weekly.
I used to work for a company where some drivers would make $1500 a week, and others would make $2200 plus. Some busted ###, others would stop driving when they see snowflakes coming down, or would stop at every scenic rest area to enjoy the view.

Nope! Rolling tarp in the cold will NEVER become easy for me no matter how many time I do it lol, especially when my fingers get numb and I can't feel ####! LMAO!!! I'm in Florida and I can't move right now PLUS I'm specifically looking for Food Grade tanker jobs, no hazmat, so the oilfield in Texas wouldn't be a good fit for me.⁶

Yeah, I bought some "Winter" gloves online, hopefully they're as good as they say they are.
