Can someone please tell me what these different Ratio types refer to?
My shop is changing a transmission and we don't have the exact same one to replace it with. I found all the specs I need as to how to read the model numbers ... manufacturer, direct/overdrive, # of forward gears, nominal torque. All the eaton and meritor transmissions model numbers (that I've looked at) have this letter designation at the end for "Ratio" of A, B, C. What does this refer to specifically so I can determine how this will impact my choice to install one transmission or another.

What model are you taking out?

What did you have in there, what do you want to put in there?snowman_w900 Thanks this. -
Usually the ending letter refers to what final output ratio you have. C being higher than A. Depending on the model.

Google Eaton fuller roadranger transmission ratios, or something like that. They have it all listed.

I would go off the ratio chart and compare what it came with to what you have in stock. It will also have lengths and weights. Just do a Eaton fuller ratio chart
