I had that exact problem with my 2013. It ended up being my qualcomm wires. The two in question were the green and yellow, that i believe logs miles. One was grounded out. I spend 1200 at a dealer and they never found the problem. I found it when i had the fuse box lid on the dash off and was moving the wires around heard the a clicking noise and found one wire was a little worn and was grounding out. Hope this helps.

That poster that I copied the message from found that 1 wire shortening to the ground was messing up the whole communication.
You should check all wires for possible grounding when moving.
    PIA? You bet.

Miss communication between engine & transmission. I had a horrible experience. Driving normal , all of sudden transmission stop spinning drive shaft ,so truck rolls until stop & engine shut off, turn the key off , turn it on back everything back to normal for a while!!
Changed accelerate pedal with sensor, but no luck, replace the transmission tcu to test , & engine ecm , still no luck!!
RIBBON HARNESS, inside the transmission!!! That was a problem!!
If you see the harness ,you laugh.
    Tiny wire !!!
    Hope it helps.
