Anyone know Trans Am's hiring area? I could not find anything in the TA forum or their website. I live in Idaho.

    Thanks for any info.

This is as close of an answer that I could find on the TransAm website. From the looks of it, Idaho may not be in your hiring area. You would probably have to call TransAm and find out for sure.
TransAm Trucking serves the Midwest, Mid-South, Northeast, Southeast, Florida and Southern California.
TransAm operates out of its headquarters in Olathe, KS (Kansas City area) and maintains a terminal and maintenance facility in Rockwall, TX (Dallas, TX area).

Trans Am's hiring are does not include Idaho. Except for a small amount of SoCal runs, the western extent of their hiring/delivery zone stops in the Denver area. I would still call them but that's the area as I understand it.

I know that @Chinatown often recommends that particular company. Bet he shows up here pretty soon.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll call just to be sure but it does seem they operate mostly from midwest back east.

Thanks mje I will look into Navajo as well. I was more interested in TA because it seems they are a little more 'understanding' with MVR issues. I only have one violation in the last 3 years but its a wet reckless from 2014. TA's website states as a requirement no DUI in the past 2 years, so I'm guessing they might work with me on the reckless.

If anyone knows a company that, like TA, may consider a driver with that record I'd love to hear any suggestions. I have no other criminal history or serious moving violations. My first choices (smaller companies in my area) have so far been a no go. I can't blame them though, I know how bad it looks on paper.

    Thanks again!

Many companies bend their own hiring rules these days, so ignore what's on the websites:
    Western Express
    Carolina Logistics
    Carolina Cargo
    Jones Bros. Trucking
    May Trucking Company

Thank you for the suggestions. I hear about a massive driver shortage all the time so I'm hoping someone will give me a shot.
