Whats a good horn to put on a Cascadia without having to mount on a new bracket? The air horn is located underneath the driver side between the floor and batteries. Thanks in advance.

Maybe he wants it to look like an amtrak or bullet train.

Get a train horn, bright ### center led light for the grill, youll be the coolest trucker out there.

If you dont get sarcasm, dont reply to my comment.

Hey we are just messing with ya.
Train horns use a lot of air.
You have to tap into air tanks then put valve in cab and then to train horn

Train horns are much larger than normal truck horns, (sometimes making mounting more difficult). Train horns are MUCH louder than normal truck horns. Depending on the DOT or city cop they can/will give you crap/ticket if you only have a train horn and no normal city/truck horn.

I have on occasion gotten pretty hard on the button for a fairly extended period (not minutes or anything but quite a bit of super loud noise making) and I have never noticed an appreciable drop in my air pressure or any related issues. I can tell you that in order to get the most out of your air horn, (train or otherwise) you need to run at least 1/2" air line directly and the shorter the run the better. Some horns come with a fitting that is 1/2 air hose and then restricts it to smaller size in the fitting before it gets to the horn. I know mine did in the electric valve. I replaced that valve with a true 1/2 valve with no restriction and there was a noticeable difference in volume. That was on the recommendation of the guys at the I-75 Chrome shop in Wildwood, FL. They said it will not hurt the horn. Had them for about a year now, still working fine so I guess they were right...LOL

Here are the horns that I have. PLENTY loud enough, no reason to spend more $ or to be any louder. In fact you can spend 2-3x more and your not going to get anything close to 2x louder. I got black since they are where you can't really see them and I wanted them to blend in anyway. Plus I don't like chrome anyway, just more cra* to have to keep pretty looking... on a work truck..? They also have the replacement valve if you want it instead of the provided valve.

I can tell you that my train horn has absolutely prevented more than 1 accident where my normal truck horn would not have cut it....

And occasionally they can be a lot of fun.... LOL.. (But you didn't hear that from me...)

NOTE: My city horn and factory air horn were almost exactly equally as ..."loud"? The electrical connections on my city horn are lame and they corrode easily and constantly cleaning them they still often quit working. I tapped into (with solder and 100% weatherproof sealing method) the electric city horn circuit for the train horn electric solonid. I have a switch on the dash to turn the train horn off for the rare occasion that I might want to use the normal electric city horn..."IF" it feels like working that day. Since the city horn (When it works) and the factory air horn are essentially the same volume (really just a different sounding horn, no louder) if I want less than train horn noise I normally just use the factory air horn. So my train horns are activated directly from the steering wheel button. Exactly where you need it in case of crisis.

Observe the Long Horn cattle of Texas. Had God wanted you to have a bigger horn he would have provided one for you. Stop trying to compensate for your weak equipment. Women don't care.
