    Hey all, new to this site, please bear with me. I own an '89 Pete 379, just recently I picked up a reefer type trailer for someone that had been sitting for over 16 years. Brakes did not release, had to cage. Ever since then I've had issues with air flowing to trailer supply and to the point where now you push in the red supply button on dash and when glad hands are disconnected, no air comes out. Thought it was a bad valve behind the dash. Anyone got any suggestions as to what the issue might be? I'm kind of stumped.. Thanks in advance

    Tractor protection valve. Does air come out of the blue/application side when hit the brakes/trolley valve?

    Check supply @ T.P. valve, and work back to foot valve. After that logical stuff, someone more knowledgeable will Prolly chime in, but you have a supply problem. Don't be dragging any trailers around until it's fixed.

    He already caged the spring brakes. No air out a both gladhands.....no trailer brakes.
    OT: When I test drive a new hire...two questions;
    1.) What does the power divider / axle interlock do, and when should you use it?
    2.) What does the T.P. valve/ "red" knob do?
    No know...NO PASS!!!

    Arghh!

    Bean Jr. Thanks this.

    Remove dash valve and check for air supply. Think your dash valve is toast

    Replaced the valve behind the dash, replaced the TP valve as that seems to be what everyone is leaning towards, same problem... I'm starting to think something blew back into the system and is clogging the supply somewhere if that makes any sense
