This Company stole my pay. On a no touch freight they said I was responsible for the bags of coconut sugar came undone. The receiver wouldn't take the load because they said it keeps happening. So TQL sent me to another company to have it repackaged. They charged 1400.00, my pay on it was 2800.00. Even though I had nothing to do with the packaging, or the loading . They said I was at fault and took, all my money. I spent almost 1500.00 in fuel. What can I do?

You did a cross country run for 1.25ish per mile load? That's insane. I hope you made out like a bandit going in.

If you can prove you didn't damage the product you can fight the claim they're putting on you but unfortunately they have the upper hand because you agreed to this process when you onboarded with TQL.

How do spend $1500 on fuel for a load paying $2800?

3.x miles per gallon or hauling a load cross country for a $1 a mile.
    Which is it?

1.)Lot of miles to use $1500/fuel.
    Assuming you’ve already got fuel,
be at least 2550 miles at 6 mpg.

Well considering how some people figure expenses he could have been empty when he started the load, fueled up and drove 700 miles with the load and fueled up again. So in his mind, he spent 1500 on fuel for that load.
    Just saying…..

If you fueled up again after 700 miles that should like what 100 gallons like what maybe $400. Still missing a lot of money here.

OP didn't mention fuel costs include being empty on fuel due prior load and counting that on this one.

I won’t haul for tql, they’ve got loads on my area always about $500-$1000 cheaper than anyone else.
Won’t put rate anymore, you gotta call them.
