Actually, with some accounts it is possible for them to have to take money out of their own pocket to cover a load.

Dale thompson Thanks this.

I loaded for them last week, voiced my opinions of their brokerage and was met with honest concern. Everything went ok, except when I was 1 hour from delivery they asked me if I could deliver in Miami instead of Orlando as out of 5 trucks they had loaded I was the only one to deliver on time and they needed the load in Miami to fill a container. Wasn't my decision, when my company gave them a rate, they decided to drop this load in Orlando after all.

Here is my experience with tql. We hauled a load for them 7 months again. Loaded it in Lagrange GA and delivered it to Southaven MS. The truck was short 60 cases according to the receiver. The bills were marked "seal in tact" the driver wasn't allowed on the dock and they sealed the trailer at the shipper. Like I say 7 months goes by and they call saying it is short those 60 cases and we owe them over $2000 for the short product. I had our manager pull the original rate conformation and bills signed at receiver. Clearly marked "seal intact" when driver checked in to unload. Rate con says nothing to the fact of driver count or etc. called tql and they claim it is drivers reponsibility to count all of the products on the load. I explained driver wasn't allowed on dock. She said they would review the calls because they were recorded and investigate it. She point blank lied about that. I get a call from insurance where tql has tried to file this on my insurance because product was short. That's pretty sorry they way they are handling this situation. We will never do business with tql again. Dirty rotten crooks.
rollin coal and 6wheeler Thank this. -
If I was you, I would go to my local court and file a warrant in debt plus maybe an extra $500 in top of the 2000 they claim. You'll need to look up the registers againt for TQL in OH and file it with your court. Tell your insurance company you have a civil claim regarding the issue.
