My first professional quality LED flashlight and I'm really impressed. Priced around $25 at Lowe's but the light output is astonishing. I can spot game across my 2 acre open field at night. Something all my cheapo Walmart LED flashlights couldn't do at 1/4 acre. It takes 3 AAA batteries and comes with 3 Duracells in the package. After more than a month of using it to take out the dog and hunt a nuisance armadillo every night I'm still on the original batteries but I'm sure they are nearing replacement time. Light output is not as bright but still kicks butt compared to any other LED light I've owned. I would prefer this light over my old 4 D cell Maglight unless I needed to knock some heads with it!

I plan on buying a few more of these. Features include an electronic switch. Those crappy mechanical switches on my other cheapo LED lights seem to be the cause of most problems. 1 click of the button = full power beam, 2 clicks = low power beam, 3 clicks = strobe beam. Off is 1 click in any mode.

Here is a good review from a total LED flashlight geek website.

I just replaced my Mini ML, because I had a battery leak in the old one. Only brand I'll buy for my truck....

Maglight's are the best. I just tried to change the batteries in one of them LED stubby flashlights I bought at Pilot about 3 years ago. The battery holder fell apart in pieces. Piece of junk! :)

The batteries on my Maglight are dead but I cannot unscrew the cap to get it open. :(

That's what happened to mine. I finally had to use vice grips and pliers to get it open, only to find the batteries had leaked and basically sealed the thing tighter than King Tut's tomb.

I think I had this one for around 6 years. I don't keep many things that long, so I'm good with it.

stick the end in vinegar for an hour or so. If that doesn't work then I'd use a hammer!!

No vinegar. Will a cuppa standard-fare truck stop coffee do the trick??

Hot water off the coffee island should work, no reason coffee won't either, your flashlight may smell like coffee afterwards.
