Anyone know if they make something that does not interfere with the Aero on Dry van trailer? Looking for any kind of tool box that can go on dry van.

I don't see where you could Mount anything with them unless you crawled underneath and went in between them and you fabricated a place for tool boxes in there but you'd have to crawl underneath and get inside of there just to get to them.
Maybe you could put the toolbox on the same angle as the skirt and just cut the skirt so that the toolbox Begins the angle and it continues right to the skirt?
Or maybe you could make it that somehow the skirt flips up and your toolbox is underneath of it? Or maybe just cut one section of it and let that part flip up?
You don't have any room on your tractor or your catwalk?
Maybe you could do like this guy. He's got plenty of room on his frame for Tool boxes.

Skirts make it hard. I spec mine without so I can mount a toolbox and chain hangers.
Rideandrepair and Siinman Thank this. -
Trim the skirt, or put a piano hinge on the back side of it with some kind of lock so you can swing part of the skirt out of the way to get to the box

Mount it behind the skirt and make a door section in the skirt to access it?
Rideandrepair, Dino soar and Siinman Thank this. -

I think mounting it behind the skirt is a great idea, keep it hidden from prying eyes. If you don't need in it everyday I wouldn't consider it a problem to crawl under trailer to access it

I've put two truck style tool boxes on my catwalk in the last 5 years. First one was steel and rusted to bits in about a year. Second is aluminum is still there but about to crack completely off the truck. Big cracks in the mounting holes. For this reason I will not buy another. I plan on buying a big cab box for the back of truck. Plenty of room on my 780 (and your 860? @Siinman). It'll cost a few grand but for me I'm about ready to do it. I think it will be well worth it.
Also, I drop my trailer at a lot that is not fenced when I'm home. I wouldn't want anything valuable in a trailer tool box, which for me means I wouldn't be able to use it. My tools are more valuable to me than most of the stuff in my house.
Another reason I haven't been able to get my head around a trailer tool box is that everyday I see them under flatbeds and they are destroyed and usually empty because a blowout took them out at some point.HoneyBadger67, Rideandrepair, RubyEagle and 2 others Thank this.
