My 2007 International Air pressure builds to 180 psi. I replaced the air governor and I still have the same problem; air pressure of 180 psi. So it's not the governor. I did replaced the air dryer with an after market one as well, so both are brand new. Can anyone guide me on where my problem might be.
Thanks in advance

I mean i could be wrong but at 180psi, i would think you might be blowing things apart already.
Have you checked your gauges for accuracy? They may not be reading correctly.Opendeckin, nredfor88, Suspect Zero and 4 others Thank this. -

Check with an external gauge.

Possibly ice depending on location.. -
I would guess the unloader is all carboned up. They sell kits to rebuild the top end of compressors.

Mine kept pumping one day, although as stated the tank high pressure blow off valve triggered at about 155 psi.
It was a moisture problem that froze the governor.
Turned out to be a bad air dryer in my case that was a cause of the problem.singlescrewshaker Thanks this. -
Key word Aftermarket parts .. aka junk more often than not as far as truck air parts go ..

Mine did this first hand, would over build air when it was cold, once it cycle a couple of times, it be working normal. At the end, it was the unloader valve on top of the compressor as @Hammer166 mentioned. Simple fix. Buy the kit and make sure you install the springs correctly.

I'm betting that the gauge is bad...
