Im more wanting one for the more mpg, i think if i didnt see at least .2 gain id send it back. I looked at the install directions and part list, seems all inclusive.
One thing thats buggin me is here in forum on other threads ive seen maybe a .2 increase but alot say none for mpg. The customer testimonials on pureflow website say alot if .5 plus stories, so it seems something aint matchin up.
Anyone put one on a cat or a 3406e? On my motor in instructions they want the transfer pimp shimmed, which they supply shim, the fitting for transfer pump output side drilled out bigger to 3/8 and one of the internal fuel supply holes in the hand primer base drilled out bigger. Tempted to do these 3 things before i lay down 1300 and a days labor
If i didnt already lay down over 10k for tranny and bunch of other stuff the last 2 months id just get one but im tired of spending money even though i might see a return back on this
To airdog or not to airdog cant decide

Don't know about the Air Dog system. We put a FASS system on my friends C-15 Accert. It worked great. He gets 2-3/10 better mpg every trip. If you have your foot in it all the time up hills, you'll never see the mpg out of it, and that's hard to do, it gave that engine a kick in the rear with power.
bull hauler Thanks this. -

They want how much for a fuel preporator now?!!
I have an original one and was thinking of getting the new style but not for that price.
You can remove the idiot light and put a real gauge in it's place.
Every trip is differnt so I can't say how much mpg improvement it gave me. The science is sound and recognized by the engine mfrs.
I like mine but you will eventually have maintenance issues always when you don't need them like a motor shaft seal wears and leaks, Motor gets graphite dust from the brushes and needs to be disassembled and blown out, motor shaft gets groove worn in it from seal and you need to buy a new motor......... well I've had mine since 1996 so I rebuilt it a few times. still I would feel naked without it on my fuel system.EverLuc and bull hauler Thank this. -

I talked with airdog today, pretty impressed with what they had to say, jeremy over there seems like a straight shooter he gave me a name and phone number of a customer that stuck one on his 3406e... Called the guy he said he gained .5- .75 more mileage, and said it was best thing he did to his truck, i ended up ordering one, Ill post results once i get er on.

Did it ever occur to you tgat the guy he gave you the number to will get a cut of the sale just to make it sound sweet? I would never buy an airdog with their crooked practices. FASS all the way...
