So I've decided to go with Michelin XZA3+ steer tires and noticed that there isn't much difference in price between load range G and H. Is there any disadvantage to having LR H when they aren't really needed?

I use "G" but the only advantage is if you was to run always heavy on the steer's, you could go "H" just for peace of mind. With an "H" rating your running 16 ply instead of your standard 14 ply. I have ran both in the past with no difference between the two. Just my .02 cents.
