Hey all. I thought I would share how I drained my def tank. I didn’t really want to remove the tank so I had the idea of using my leaf blower to add a little pressure so it would use the tanks pick up tube to empty it. Of course I had removed the pump module. It takes a while but it works great. Thanks.![]()

Ridge line, I’m getting poor quality def codes. I figured it wouldn’t hurt to fill with fresh. Judge, I tried an air powered extractor that I have but it wouldn’t get to the bottom of the tank.

I got a poor def quality code last week.
I did a regen, and refilled def, it went out.
Anymore who knows about the quality of fuel. -

2015 Pete 579 does not have a quality sensor in the tank. It uses both nox sensors to determine quality. And yes both have been changed.
