Like... hauling for them? I'm pretty sure GFS and Sysco likely do all their business.

I am not an expert on donut trucking but I do consider myself to be an expert on eating donuts and I believe Horton donuts are carried by Hortons own private fleet of Horton Donutmobiles. Horton Donut Drivers are employees of 3G Capital hedge fund managers of São Paulo, Brazil, which owns Tim Hortons.

I am not patriotic and I am not concerned that Tim donuts have not been Canadian for decades but I stopped eating them when they started shipping them frozen instead of actually making them in the donut shops. Krispy Kreme for me these days. Frozen donuts, blecch.

Tims: Crappy frozen donuts served by disgruntled Filipino TFW's owned by evil foreign hedge fund. Yum! So Canadian!

In ontario they have their own fleet. Runs out of Guelph I think. All brown daycab volvos. No idea on pay. Must be decent the beer store also runs out of Guelph. And the beer store drivers stay at those jobs for many years.

Back a few years in highshool I worked at a retail location and would unload the truck. One driver told me he was paid $14/hour but I later realized that was a complete lie. My trainer in driving school went to work for them for a couple weeks and quit, LTL wasn't for him, I think he said twenty something per hour was the going rate.

They drive at a maximum of 95km/h but apparently they're not governed there so they have passing power, but they are monitored on speed to make sure they don't cruise above 95.

That's all just what I've heard and may only be relative to South-Western Ontario.

OH, and you're just about guaranteed something free from the stores you deliver to. At ours it was not only a coffee but also a muffin/cookie/whatever. Depends on the store and management though.

THAT'S why they've gone down in quality so much over the past several years!

At least they are a good source of hot and reasonably healthy food when on the road in the prairies.

That's the Canadian way these days.

I heard that McDonald's gets their coffee from the company that supplied Tims way back when they had good coffee.

This thread is going a little sideways.

How about the way they jacked up the coffee prices only at OnRoute service centers? XL coffees are $0.10 more.

Although, I think I paid $2.20 for an XL the last time I was in Alberta..
