Throttle Position Sensor Calibration?

    i changed the throttle position sensor on my foot pedal and curious if there is a calibration or anything I read somewhere you had to push the pedal down 3 times or something the instructions that came with my sensor don't say anything, I installed the sensor haven't run it or turned key on as I didn't have the truck plugged in

    just wanted to make sure before I get to far

    I'm having the same code pop up on mt 2014 peterbilt 386 also the Accel pedal position don't know if their the same thing but I replaced pedal for $1100 because the sensor is synced to the pedal and paccar doesn't sell a separate sensor searched for a week trying to find one anyways after putting the pedal in I did the pedal down 3x trick and initially code didn't go away but after a few cycles it did go away but came back on 2days later so here I am trying to find a solution I might ad that when I do get symptoms such as no response in throttle my stability control light blinks is all this connected in some way?
