    Hello,

    I have a 2001 thermo king sbiii whisper edition reefer. Got code 17 ( engine failed to crank) checked starter had power at starter. replaced starter. Reefer fired right up.(did not have to jump start) Later the day reefer would not fire up got same code. any tips or pointers would be great. thanks

    Connections?..battery is clearly good..now starter is replaced and new.
    So..i suspect bad/dirty elec.connections.

    Which wire was it? I am getting the same code. However after a couple of times turning it on and off. It did turn on. So I’m thinking it could be the starter. But wouldn’t hurt to check the wires. Please let me know. Mine is a 2005 sb210.
