I had batteries replaced yesterday. After that my inverter was showing 14.1-14.2v today its showing 12.6 with pay running. I started truck to see if it will change to 14.1 but its still at 12.5-12.6
I've tested battery voltage at battery jump start terminals and theyre 14.0-14.1
Did my inverter crap out and not showing proper voltage?

What's the DC voltage at the input connections of the inverter?

Put a multimeter on it. Test the voltage at the batteries with truck off. Then test with the truck running. Then Test the voltage coming into your inverter. Your Alternator might have taken a dump too.

Without truck running batteries 12.8 with truck running 14.1.
I also have TriPac apu and with it running batteries are at 14.0-14.1
Its just inverter gauge showing 12.3-12.5

Checked that and its only showing 12.3 with truck running. What could cause it?

Ok I've got it figured out dip #### mechanic didnt tighten battery bolts all the way. Once I've tightened them its showing proper voltage with apu/engine running

Don't feel bad we've all been there. Heck two weeks ago I stopped at a pullout in the middle of nowhere for the night. Then in the morning I hit the button and all I heard was click. Crap. No cell signal, 2 lane road and no civilization to be had anywhere. I checked everything. Ended up being a loose connection on the starter. It took me longer to find the right socket than it did to actually fix the problem.
