As my final days count down until my two weeks is up I thought I'd enlighten you guys about my experience here. Well starting off everything was fine for about a couple months decent pay blah blah but after awhile we ran into issues as to not wanting to give me an e-z pass for toll roads now as a driver I shouldn't have to pay that especially when they have a crap ton in Stock but a crappy excuse about east coast regional drivers only but I explain about how my dm send me there alot but no satisfaction now me being 23 people like you don't want to run and that's false I love running but when I get tired of paying out of my own pocket and always not getting reimbursed there is a huge issue. But back to the matter at hand I noticed on Facebook they advertise about paying 36 to 44 cpm and I questioned that because I'm getting a payout of 35 and I don't think it's fair so truly with that in getting under dogged I asked my no good dm and he said he would talk to his boss no response on that so I talk to them no response on that so I let it be cause I'm making a little money but all my weeks is good I have more bad weeks than good and I stayed running but I got starved alot on miles. Couple weeks ago my wife was with me in the driver's lounge and we over heard alot of drivers I knew talking about how sweet wanted them to train and how they get to go anywhere they want and I instantly got pissed cause they try to send me the ####ty loads they can find. Recently I found a better job within arkansas a mom and pop company I put my two weeks in and of course I'm getting #### miles nothing new but as I try to see what's going on Facebook And explain the truth they block me from commenting to keep the truth hidden so they can look good in rating they delete negative reviews alot. But earlier a buddy of mine called and said sweet tried to tell him all drivers start out at 38 cents a mile to 45cents and I'm like oh is that so u decides to call and have a argument with them but I didn't. I warn anybody who wants to go there turn your back it is not worth it no matter what they say sweet say they have a low turn over rate that's a lie I've witnessed over 40 drivers quit while being there even people that's been there a year or two cause of my same misfortune. And also if I hadn't added yet in still making 35cpm after being there over a year.

Also might I add they say you get layover breakdown detention and holiday pay that's all false if you sit for a day you get 100 dollars that goes for breakdown with layover they cheat you so you can't get any money and if you may happen to get it that's only 100 dollars.

The bright side of sweet there are some cool dispatchers there that's worth something and believe in trying to get you money and that is fair and if you ask to get home they will get you home on time without an issue and for as long as you need to stay.

Do you get per diem? If so, that counts towards cpm. I make 47cpm (with different company), however only 39 shows in gross earnings, the other 8 is paid per diem.

Per diem is nice when you look at your take home pay, but your taxable income is that much less, so if you want to buy a house or car, you'll likely qualify for less than you normally would. It can also hurt you when it's time to retire, or if you need disability, as again, your taxable income is lower than if you were paid a standard rate.

I don't get it why people would drive for any company that is less than .45 a mile straight...not counting per diam. The wages mentioned here are worthless really and not worth the time to even get out of bed for.

We'll I heard something good and they try not to tell people what they pay until afterwards they never release to the public they aren't worth the waste only people that get a decent wage there are owner ops but that's still not even a big deal.

That guy is full of ####...I work for Sweet and honestly I don't have anything to ##### about. I'm the guy that will ##### about a company not treating me right, but I swear to God I got nothing. I make good money at 0.46cpm, I get 33% per diem, I have medical, vision, life insurance, I have 401k, I have a brand new truck that runs 72mph. I don't know what there is to ##### about. I've been in this industry awhile, and I know every trucking company is going to feed you some ########, but I haven't received any from Sweet Express.
