Beware Payroll thieves
I have worked as a driver for over 26 years
(Only lasted one month with these thieves)
(fast learner but not fast enough)
theses people the payroll part of this company
is by far the worst I have ever had to deal with
it all started so good nice orientation trucks are ok
the shop was good easy to work with
here we go first load to were else NJ
back haul savannah GA.
ok that's not so bad right
Here is were it gets strange
on the load out of savanna Ga. had to scale the load
well the truck stop I was at was packed long line lots of happy truckers
one of there rules is you Have to use your fuel cards for scale
well I left the card in the truck there was a very long line at the fuel island
long line as the scale a long line at the casher
right So i just paid cash sounds ok
Oh no you cant do that now keep in mind this was my 3rd load and first time to weigh
I turned in the receipt with the scale ticket
they will not reimburse for scale really no warning no nothing WOW
that sucked $10.50 down the drain
Ok alright rough start
Oh no it gets better
after a few loads and a reset at the
yard they didn't wont me to take the truck home
so I spent 34 hr at the yard ok not so bad
but still sucks
off to ST Louis I go
after a drop and hook
picked up a trailer with no lights
I fixed the lights wires were cut
picked up next am
spend half the day getting this load
picked it up go to scale to heavy back to
shipper they get it right lets go
Then the call from dispatch
Oh you need to do a swap
you got 6 hours left we have a load that cant be late to KC
so i get nothing for all that no pay no nothing
yes that's right no pay at all
they seemed shocked with the ideal
I would ask for local pay or something
Get to KC
unload load next morning
Have to go to the Cave been there not so bad
before you go you have to have load locks at this shipper
they had no load locks at the yard when I got the truck no locks on the truck
so a call to dispatch
go to the truck stop get a amount will give you advance
(you can see were this is going)
turned in the bills the receipt they took it out of my pay
plus a $1.28 convenience fee that the store did not charge
they will not pay it back after 2 phone calls
I was told that oh I don't know you are or what you did with that money
(OH my Are you insane)
Oh we have no receipt so I called the store
they were nice enough to fax them a copy still will not repay me
$76.20 down the drain
Get back to the yard for time off
3 weeks out 3 days off right
so they told me to take anything I cared about out
of the truck because they were going to make a run to Boston Mass
wow i thought this was assigned trucks
so i take my home time and come back to a different truck?
ok that's it I am done
Let me some this up
I work 3 weeks they steal $91.20
pay house hold mover miles (just a way to short your miles)
if you get an advance they charge you a convenience Fee?
If its for the truck good luck i never got it back
if you don't trans flow your bills within 24hr after delivered 2 dollars a page
so lets say 8 pages 8x2=$16
As with any company you work for
write every thing you do down
log it all keep good records
most trucking Companies will steal from you some are just worse then others
The Rosedale group Dalton Ga was the worse that I have encountered
Driver Beware!

Bad company is a bad company. -
This is so simple it's really scary.
Just take all your documentation file with the state labor board.
Even if your state lets an employer get away with this crap, it costs you nothing to file, and they have to respond plus probilily show up for, or at least be on the line for a phone hearing.
Now you have made them do some work, prepare documents, or if very lucky made them show up some place.
It has cost you nothing and even if you don't get the $100. bucks back the hoops that you made jump through are so very satisfing. -
If we could get a majority of drivers doing what @TankerYankr mentions it would at least start to annoy companies.
Badmon, Mike2633 and Canned Spam Thank this. -
34 hr reset ~ he assumed he could take the truck home.
Hometime ~ he assumed he could take the truck home for a few days.
Transflow and loadlocks ~ he assumed co. would pay for it.
Bottom line ~
ALL of his " issues " should have been discussed during orientation,
If they didnt bring the subjects up then HE SHOULD HAVE . -

Kangaroo Trucker and Jaybird74 Thank this.
