The Jamie Davis Towing Discussion Thread

I see there is another, similar show from the GTA, "Heavy Rescue 401".

 

Yes, that will have Adam Garazolla (sp?) who used to work for Jamie and now has his own company. I am interested in how it will be and when it will be available down here in the States.

 

First episode's on YouTube. Based on that 1 episode I'd say Ontario definitely gives BC and AB a run for their money in terms of this country's ####iest drivers. At least BC has an excuse with the mountains lol.

 

No it won't. Adam still works in bc and doesn't have his own company. He works for marios towing that was based in Merritt. The 401 show is in Ontario and completely different companies than in bc.

I stand corrected on the new show having Adam, I saw a promo picture and it sure looked like him in it. Sorry for that bit of misinformation.

As for Adam working for Mario's, don't know about that. Here is Adam's website for his company, it is current as of 2016, although it does say he has been in business for 15 years. Maybe he also works for other companies to supplement his income? That I don't know, just know he did mention having his own company in a recent interview. Also thought I heard something about him starting out on his own during one of the Highway Thru Hell episodes, but again not positive where I heard it. Wouldn't be the first time a tower that owns their own company also worked for other towers, I have in the past as a way to get through the rough times.

Yea he kinda has a side gig but works for marios full time. Atleast he did when I saw him 3 weeks ago lol He had that side gig when working at Jamie's too.

 

Around me a lot of the mechanics have one truck they run out of their home, some also work for other towers while trying to get their own company off the ground. It takes a lot of money and time to start a towing company, many start out small and grow organic.

 

How would you know Jamie's finacial situation.
