Hello everybody, wanted to share some insight and experiences I've encounted with CR ENGLAND. 1st, stick with it! Quitters never win and winners never quit.
I am relatively new to trucking, as a matter of fact I'm a Greenhorn Rookie. I met a lot of good people going through Cr england Premier truck driving school and I met a lot of a--holes. I choose My Friends, not the other way around. Phase 1 training. Not good. I don't like taking anybody's inventory so I won't disclose any one's name. My trainer was a drunk. Yep, stayed behind the curtain trained from the bunk, late every appointment, late turning in trips, screamed and hollered if I couldn't back the first time, wouldnt turn in weeks training records unless they hounded him 4 days. and every truck stop had to sell beer or a liquor store had to be near by. He even told me that no matter what I said to the company, they would always side with the trainer. WOW YOU SAY. Now don't get me wrong, he would get up and drive his hours, probably hung over, but he did drive. The week he showed me his pay stub after almost 6000 hours we drove, I flipped out. Right at $1,900.00 for the week and my little ### $547.00 for the same week. Oh well, I was ready to quit. Some of my friends did quit. There is a lot more to this 3.5 week training but it's too lengthy to share here. To make a long story short, they wanted to see him on the carpet. At that moment they were on to him and he quit on the spot. Another story follows that. My point is, I didn't quit. I am now in phase 2 upgrade teaming with a good friend and classmate. It's a whole different atmosphere and a whole different world. One of my friends jumped ship, went with another company that made promises, then fired him, then he tried to get on with two more company's that made promises and didn't keep and guess where he is at now? Yep, back at CR ENGLAND, STARTING ALL OVER. No matter how bad it gets in phase one training, there are options. Stand tall, take action and be persistent. Don't quit just because things aren't going as they should. Remember one thing, it doesn't last forever. For all the horror stories you've heard, there are a million good ones. The grass isn't always greener on the other side of the fence. One last thing to think about. If a company is offering you 5,000 dollars or 10,000 dollars to sign up with them it's because they can't keep any body or get any body without baiting the hook. Don't be the next big fish that gets stuck in the net. GOOD DAY!

Working with drama queens isn’t worth $1900.

I don't think there's a million good stories about CRE but if you're happy, enjoy!

I've never worked for CR England and can't endorse them, but that being said I agree with you. Any where you work the learning curve and training is always the hardest part. It's why I stay where I am, I'm a local driver and lately I've been heavy so I've been cranking about $1600 a week which is clearing $1000 a week so while it sucked at the start things and times change and now it's not so bad.

For future reference, paragraphs & spacing are useful, especially for readers using a smartphone.

Good luck driver keep going it will get better, by the way don't worry about grammar police, in the forum we have a lot of police here that volunteer there time to criticize each other, hell I am the number one target lol, but I think we should spend our time teaching the younger drivers to take over, the younger and are new drivers are the future of what is left of trucking, ps for those big baby that likes to cry about my grammar and are spelling, guess what don't waste your time to reply because I don't care one bit, most of you that run your mouth, cannot walk in the millions of miles that I have done, and yes safely, no accident in my 25 plus years.

I can only dream of driving for a premier company like CR England. I tried my best to get on, but they said I just wasn’t good enough for their fleet.

I’m gonna keep working hard to improve though. I won’t be denied my dream!

One thing I’m struggling with is getting the shifting down. It’s my understanding that P is for park or something and D is for going forward, or something like that. It’s all so confusing.
