Perfectly normal that you got inspected. I’ve been through it a few times.. Once it was just a training exercise for the new recruits.
In the end they put their seal on it and give you documentation for your receiver.
Nothing to panic over or worse..challenge them.

Here’s a link explaining what the AG inspectors do. Notice that it’s called an “Inspection” station.
Mostly I get a thumbs up from the attendant and keep rolling but sometimes they will ask what I’m hauling. When they ask what you’re hauling answer quick and clearly. Acting unsure of what you have can flag you for an inspection.
Example, I had a multi stop frozen load with small amounts of just about everything. I fumbled my answer and got inspected! What I should have done was just answered with one of the items in the trailer.

Lady asks what I’m hauling.
I said: Carts.
She said: What?!
I said: Carts.
She said: Give me your BOL.

She looks at it and says: Carts!ducnut, D.Tibbitt, bentstrider83 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Since the receiving customer is in FL, this is probably not the first load they've had that has been inspected. They should have placed a new seal on the trailer and noted it on the b/l. The seals I have had replaced actually had 'FL dept of Ag' on it, although it has been a while since I have been inspected. Let me guess, your load came from south of the border? Cabbage cops are not only responsible for agriculture protection, but can also inspect for evidence of drugs or weapons being illegally shipped into the state, improperly immunized livestock. I have even had them open a trailer to inspect for evidence of bug infestation that could be harmful to FL crops. What they did is their job, accept it and be cooperative and it goes quick an easy. The seal number on your bills should have been updated and signed for by the officer and you should be on your way. What kind of form do you want, something that says "inspected by Ag officer Bob Smith at station 13245?"

The ag stations seemed more chill now than when I last went through Florida in 2007. I got waved on through without any contact. Even the second one, the guy was in the middle of watching a video.
2007, I recall it was some boomer that was on the edge of screaming for no reason.
