Hey guys...trying to get my foot in the door with a starter company, and I don't have a lot of money upfront to pay for driving academies or hotels. Ive been looking into company-sponsored contracts with companies like Schneider, Swift, etc, but it seems you always need atleast a thousand bucks or so just to afford food and/or hotels for a few weeks. I just got through talking to a nice couple in my local bar, and they team drive for Werner. The wife of the team told me that Werner paid for her food, housing, and CDL training, and sent her to a college in Colorado. She went on to say she stayed in a dorm on campus, and ate for free on campus, and I'm also assuming the college probably hosted the CDL training. That sounds exactly what someone in my situation is looking for, but I can't find any information about this on any of the Werner webpages. Can anyone confirm this information, or heard otherwise?
The costs of Werner's training?

i know werner have a training academy. but i would think u have to sign a contract or something since they covering the cost of everything. give them a call to make sure. i know for a fact that once u become a student driver, they will put u in a hotel, and pay u while in training
