    Hello all,
    I am currently running on my numbers. The load count is pretty slim for brokers right now. I am looking into leasing back on with a company to have access to all their loads instead of only getting the ones that they can't cover. lol I am leaning towards Steel Transport, or PGT. I am running a 4 axle conestoga, but would like to drop off the front axle and stay the heck out of MI. I was formally leased on with Combined Transport, but would like to go elsewhere. Any info would be appreciated.

    Have you looked into Area transport? I don't have experience with them but the reviews online all seem good...

    Thunderstruck
    Bowling
    C & G
    Bessel/CRST. Some guys seem to really like them.
    Mercer
    Admiral Merchants
    100's smaller outfits.

    Not sure about Kaplan although 2 months ago I would have recommended them or eastern express…they’re related although I never bothered to look for the details. I had one of my trucks leased to eastern express with a driver in it for about 6 months. We had absolutely no issues…not one late load or dot issue. actually even had 2 clean level ones in that time. Then that driver decided to go elsewhere, so being winter coming and knowing that my dump work was going to get slow I decided to put one of my drivers in it. We had all his paperwork done and were finalizing things when all I can figure is they figured out I also had my own numbers. We went from 100% positive and even being thanked for keeping my old truck in tip top shape to excuses for wanting nothing to do with me in 3 days. Wtf…that’s all I can say. I have no other experience leasing to a carrier.
