Anybody lease on with TForce Freight? If so, can you tell me how you like it? How's the pay and is the pay consistent? Can't find any reviews on the OO division. We currently lease on with Landstar and is sick and tired of competing for loads. Thanks!

T Force is offering owner operators positions running dry freight drop and hook. Looks like they are trying to replace road drivers with contractors.

Cheaper as they don't have to worry about people trying to go union

T Force LTL is a Teamster outfit.
This ad must be for the Truck load division

Since the days of Overnite Transportation(T-Force now)I do not see them as I once saw Overnite. I am beginning to think that the freight that Overnite had before UPS bought them and then turned around and sold to T-Force, the freight has gone to other carriers.

I tried to sign up and the rate was so insane to a point where the recruiter asked me if i was sure, they were offering 1.90 per mile for all miles loaded and empty but it was 4 months prior so with today's market they probably went down to 1$ per mile. They offer a lot of stuff that might be beneficial to you but the per mile rate is insane and ridiculous.

$1.70 when I recently checked, they seem to pretty much pay everything, their authority.

I looked into it and it's still $1.70 a mile including FSC, empty miles $1.45 with FSC. Terminal to terminal runs means you don't sit around waiting to be loaded and unloaded.

Plates included for $1700, fuel and road taxes, tolls and scales paid. Cargo/liability insurance and trailer use is free. Bobtail insurance $9/wk, occupational accident $26/wk and physical tractor damage insurance available.

I'm half considering it, have a couple trucks I'm looking to buy, but my time as a Schneider lease operator left a sour taste in my mouth.

If your running as an outside contractor for the LTL division and think there is no wait time at the terminals, you’re in for a rude awakening. It is true you won’t be hooked to a wagon getting loaded and unloaded but you will drop your trailers and may set a looong time before your outbound set is ready to roll.
