Hey guys. I'm currently in CDL school and found this site through recent Google searches. Seems like its some good information and guidance coming from here. I have seen some other posts about recent grads looking for local jobs. If any of yall have some info about companies in my area, Murfreesboro Tennessee that hire for local with new CDL i would really appreciate it. I'm going to beat the pavement when I graduate and check with the companies that I see driving around in the day cabs. I'm open to class A or B jobs.

I went to truck driving school in Murfreesboro. That school has since been moved to Christiana.

It's a long shot, but I'd make a personal visit to Estes Express in Smyrna and ask about a box truck job.
Estes won't hire new grads for tractor-trailers, but sometimes do for box trucks. Drivers have posted on here they were hired for box truck jobs at Estes.

Might snag a local "Pickup & Delivery" job there.
If not, maybe a "out & back" terminal to terminal job.
Like Estes; great pay & benefits and a place drivers stick around and retire from.
