Teen & Horse Killed In Collision Between Semi & Horse Drawn Carriage In Wisconsin

There was a similar accident here recently, a Prime truck and an Amish buggy were involved in a rear end accident.

Thankfully, no fatalities, but the horse pulling the Amish buggy did suffer a broken nose, and made a full recovery.

3 am crash do these Amish use flashing red lights like the Canadian Amish or just a yield sign ..

 

It's been many years since I drove through Amish country but the last time I did, they only had SMV emblems on the back of their buggies.

 

Surrounded by them around me
Some klans are not allowed to have SMV some do .. but they do have battery flasining lights
Around here they get hit all the time
Black buggies .. a couple of flashlights and darkeness .. its gonna happen alot

 

Up here it’s SMV triangles and red LED.

Usually running wide shoulders, can’t recall them ever running after dark.

 

We must have the nocturnal Amish klan here .. cause their always out after dark even on US 34

 

Yep. ... I came inches from hitting one of them in Davis County a few years ago in the dark , not a single light on it .

 

Theres atleast 1 if not 2 of the Amish that get greased on Hwy 2 per month in Decatur Co.. cause they run Stealth Mode at night not a sigin or a light on em
