These guys are terrible! Already been here about 4hours now. Than they have you do all this go here make a phone call. No not this phone the other phone. Not that door 19 the other door 19. Ridiculous! All the driving I did started my clock which I was trying to avoid. Overall one of the crappiest places I've been to in a while. I think I even saw a sign saying if you are not loaded in 3 days, call back.

There's a ton of terrible produce shippers in and around salinas... Then after your sit there for hours you can add another hour onto your day when you try and scale the load at the Pilot

I'm seeing people get in and out. But for some reason they can't find 9 cases of whatever. That's the reason they said for the long wait. And I was at that Pilot last night, I've been to worse but yeah I wasn't impressed at all.

Ohhh what fun! Wait 'til you actually get a door assignment and the previous driver has not even been loaded yet.

It wouldn't be so bad if Taylor farms only ran their own coolers.

They are branching out and running other coolers to make them "more Efficient".

I have not been there in almost a year and I hope I never have to go back to pick up another load of produce in California. I like it when other guys pick it all up and bring it to Washington for me. It used to take me three days to do one pick in LA and two in Salinas and go back to Washington. Now I let another sucker pick it up for me and I run it to Alaska and drive 2400mls in those three days.

Lol I guess I'm that sucker today. Not for you though, I'm going to Missouri. Going on 6 and a half hours now. My record is 8 hrs at a door I could beat it today. And nice truck btw.

Don't blame it on the produce house,,they do not pick the produce until a produce broker (different than the truck broker) sells the product,,Once an order comes in for a product they go pick it,,

Hauled years ago out of Salinas for years,, They hate you sitting around and will do there best to load you and get rid of you,,BLAME THE PRODUCE BROKER, THE BUYER AND YOUR TRUCK BROKER,,THEY SUCKERED YOU.

I have not been back to California in about a year. It's all we used to do. Same story here. 3 days making pickups.
