Taxi vs Trucking....

well on the plus side driving a taxi you make your own hours, work when you want to, and get to meet alot of cool people


but the down side is danny devito is your dispatcher

 

And the areas you HAVE to go to !!!!

 

Comes down to $$ and if you want to sleep in your own bed....

 

I've thought about it sometimes but people always talk me out of it saying Taxi Drivers are targets for robbery.

I guess it depends on what city you're in though.

 

Taxi drivers don't have to tie down their loads.... altho sometimes it would be a blesssing.

 

I think you'll have about as much luck asking truckers about taxi drivers as asking taxi drivers about truckers. Just because both jobs involve a steering wheel doesn't mean there's any further similarities.

My point is that you're not going to get much solid info without going to a taxi company and asking the questions.
