Hello, again. I am sure that this topic was covered before. However, I can not find it where the comparison was made or users stated cons/pros of the ones they have used, and what would they change.
I'm looking to put in the tarp system on my 2003 ravens magnum. I would like to know from those that have one, why they picked what they picked. Why they have picked the one that they have over another. I am leaning towards quick-draw but, that Can change. Please, any information from first hand experience would be appreciated. One more thing, I'm hauling anything that pay. Could be general freight, coils, steel, equipment, insulations... only no O.D. loads. How much are they, tarp system, and what options should I choose? Pictures would be good too. Thanks guys.

I own two Quickdraws...so that is my preference. But I know guys who own Fastraks and Merlot Vango's. They each like the system that they have. I think that Verduyn's Eagle kit looks nice. I would buy a kit that has a shop near you. I think that Quickdraw and the Fastrak are close in price...approx $13000-13500. My opinion is that Quickdraw is a better value, but I am biased.

I own a quickdraw. I cant speak for the other brands as I have never used them. Mine was installed in 06 when the trailer was new and has held up very well over the years. It does need some attention on the inside rollers now as it binds up side to side sometimes when rolling but not a big deal. This could be partially because the trailer was parked for a couple of years. Suppose to be around $750 to have them all replaced. I wish they had a service center closer to me as the nearest one is in OH.

How about the tension of the system? Why did you guys chose to have QuickDraw vs others?

I have a quickdraw. I've only had it for 3 weeks but it's been a game changer for me. I love this thing. I checked out a few brands but chose the Quickdraw system because of quality, tarp tightness and price. I'm very happy with it.

Is that stainless headboard? How much extra weight and money for it. How was it the game changer?

Probably a nice increase in fuel mileage, as well as not having to deal with tarping. That's a gorgeous trailer.. Mac?
