What does everyone use for tarp repair? I use repair kit with tarp material and vinyl cement. Tried gorilla tape but it does hold on for long.
    Anybody tried Zip Tape?

I've used flex seal tape. It works really well. Used to pull end dumps an would use starting fluid to clean the area around a tear. Cover area with a light coat of rubber cement. Cover that with tarp material an rub it out, then rubber cement the edges. Always carried a roll of spare tarp. Always did a fine job.

    TX2Day and OlegMel Thank this.

Tarp material and rubber cement, clean the area around the tear, light sanding to create a rough surface and make sure you round up the corners of the patch to avoid seperation later.

I’ve done the same as everyone else, taro material and rubber cement. I have used gorilla tape as a temporary fix until I could clean it up and patch it properly.

My tarp repair kit consists of leaving the tarps in the shop. With time and labor involved, tarp loads consistently pay less than no-tarp.
