Go find a tarp shop and ask them for scraps. Shouldn't be too expensive.

  6. Look around for HH-66. You can buy pint or quart container. Did you buy your tarps? If so. Contact person who made them. Get material from them.

If not available goto a local tarp /canvas shop look for small sections of your grade of tarp.

Mytee tarp is where I get my patch kits. Comes with plenty spare vinyl and the HH-66 cement and some thinner to clean the tarps before you cement them.
After you put the cement on the patch put some around the hole you're fixing and give it about 30 seconds to start to tack up. Put them together lean on it with your palm for another minute and it's good to go. Water doesn't affect it once it set

A caster works so much better than trying to press a patch by hand.

That's ok I didn't come up with that myself either. But one of my biggest issues was always pushing out the extra cement that invariably I put on there... The caster pushes it right out, it presses the patch nice and tight, and stops me from gluing my gloves to the tarps. ;)

Note taken....I fixed a rip yesterday at the receiver and looked like an idiot washing my water proof gloves with thinner and then burying my hands wrist deep in the snow to clean the excess
