TA of Nashville to re-open on 2/1/2011?

I was in the TA in Franklin, TN this afternoon & got into a conversation with the manager there. She told me that Nashville was re-opening on Feb 1st.

Ofcourse we all know the building was completely under water do to the sping floods last year, so it is a given that the building is new. I was also told that the parking lot is repaved & apparently every new standard & peice of technology is suppose to be in this "new" truck stop.

I looked & couldn't see any announcements or news stories about the re-opening.... Has anyone else heard anything?

I give it 6 months before it turns back into the lot lizard infested, crack head dealing hole that it once was!

 

TA is a good truck stop. What do you not like about them?

Although, Nashville TA is a downtown location. Hard to get into & hard to get out of... Lot lizards jumping on the truck as soon as you enter the parking lot. Drug dealer standing in the shadows. & of course, there seems to be always a murder investigation..... Or at least thats the way it was.

 

Right in between 24, 65, & just above 40. Next to the stadium. It's not a future home. TA has been there for years. Before TA got the location it was a 76.

The Nashville floods last year destroyed the building. So ofcourse it closed. Many hoped it would remain closed.... But they rebuilt it.

 

I just called TA corporate. They said they couldn't give me an exact date.... But did tell me that it is scheduleed to re-open early Febuary.
