Manual switch on?
Anything blocking/interfering with the fan thermostat?
Do you have the program for that engine to change settings? -
I had this happen with a 98 Pete 377, Detroit 60
The wiring harness had rubbed through and shorted the fuel temp sensor wire to the block. The ECM was convinced that the fuel temp was high, and commanded the engine fan to "on". High fuel temp won't set a code. Nor will other high temp indications.
Penn Power found and fixed the problem. Charged 2 hours labor.
YMMV.
A side note:
2018 is a 'new' truck. When you bring it to the dealer, you tell them that you gave them your hard earned money when there are other options available to you. And that you expect them to have your truck back to you, in good working order, when your 10 hour break is completed.speedyk Thanks this. -

You might be better off just taking it to someone other than the dealer and paying out of pocket. Then back billing KW directly for the repairs.
How can they charge you for repairing a truck that's under warranty? -
windsmith Thanks this.

The more time I spend around Paccar trucks, the more I think they hired away some electrical engineers from Audi. Far too much "nice stuff" and not enough attention paid to critical stuff. I don't need the radio turning itself on and turning the volume up every time I start it.

Does your cruise control work by any chance? Because two weeks ago I ended up leaving a few cab lights on in the CB during my 34, come out Monday morning start getting everything ready and I realize every freaking light in the dash was on and the fan clutch stayed engaged. Shut off about 10 minutes turn it back on everything fine. Guessing it was just low voltage
