it's the same body different hood. Oh and the 600 and 800 have a set back axle and the w900 doesn't

Very little diff. As posted above, only the hood is different. I think if you've been out on the road much you would see the minor sublittlies. Things that the T800 offers are chrome bumper and dual stacks. T600, T660 you get a slightly more aero hood/fenders and the full side skirting.

Personaly, having driven many T800s and owned the T600, I prefer the T8. Pretty much as efficiant, yet classier. If they'd offer stacks by the door/sleeper on the T600 like they used to, or on the new T660, I might go there. But I like class. I'm owd skoo...[IMG]

Here is a question, did the T800 get pretty good MPG, or was it something that you kinda overlooked?

The MPGs on my T6 were good, but I don't recall the MPG on the T800's 'cause those were company trucks. Safe money says they'd be pretty close. The edge likely would go to the T600/T660 obviously, but just how big the cost savings I'm not sure.

IMO, the T800 fills the nitche between guys who WANT to run a W900L, yet KNOW they should run a T600/660

My T800 had horrible fuel mileage. Allot of the problem was too low of rear end for a cat motor though. The best I could get that truck to do was 5mpg and that was 55 or 60mph, empty through flat illinois

My T800 with 4.33 rear ends gets 4.5 mpg. Still would rather drive it than a T600.

oh lets see... I think it had 3.90's and a ten speed. A cat likes to run in the lower rpm's. I was never happy with the truck. I mean it looked and rode nice but it was a dog and fuel mileage sucked. We did some tweaking on the computer and opened up the rpm limit. It made it alot better to drive but didn't help the fuel mileage none. I believe I averaged like 4.5 with it but that was pulling an empty box half the time and 18k pounds in the box the other half. It should have been alot better.
The front of the t800 is perfectly fat and the stacks are on the side so of course it isn't going to be as aerodynamic as the 600 it's just common sense. And that's not even taking into account the lack of lower fairings. Mine didn't even have the air cleaners on it like some 800's do.
In my opinion the t800 looks like a dump truck.
