So when I first got the device I was able to delete logs that weren't driving time. Such as deleting a log where I wanted to delete the log with annotation. Now I can only add or edit the logs. Was this a system update or the administrator/company I purchased it through disabled this function?

I wouldn't be surprised if crst Malone did this so they can monitor your every adjustment of logs.

 

Mine automatically logs on duty if I stop driving and don't press anything within a certain time span

 

Also be careful when you are in a bad service area and make a change to your logs it will not save that change. It will revert your change to its original status. This happened to me and it showed me being on-duty for 10 hrs while in sleeper. I started driving and finally got cell service. Shortly after I received a message alerting me to a HOS violations of driving after 18 hours on duty lol!

 

The company that you work for goes in and changes that. Contact your elog department and tell them. I could see that being a DOT issue not having the correct company details.
